I underwent a total knee replacement on 31st August 2017 carried out by Mr Jain at the Alexandra Spire, Chatham. On my first meeting with Mr Jain I was immediately put at ease by his friendly, open and professional manner. He explained to me in very clear terms the current condition of my knee, what the procedure entailed and what I might expect following surgery. The operation went very well and I am now 6 months into my recovery. A sincere and a big thank you, Mr Jain. I would also like to say a big thank you to all the staff at the hospital who were involved with my care. They were all very caring and nothing was too much trouble for them, ensuring I was comfortable at all times. All in all a positive experience from attending Joint School to my discharge. Very best wishes Mr Jain and all the staff at the Alexandra Spire.

The first time I met Mr Jain his kind, professional and reassuring manner made it easy for me to make the decision to have a full hip replacement. After agreeing my hip replacement with Mr Jain the process could not have been smoother. I was assigned a date for my operation within the defined timeframe. When I went into hospital, the team at One Ashford were really good and helped to ease any lasting concerns about my operation. Now even though I have a way to go, I feel I am well on the road to full recovery. I'm glad I agreed to go ahead with the operation and had the right team looking after me. Keep up the good work.

I feel very privileged and fortunate to have had Mr Jain perform my hip replacement. When I first met him at Sevenoaks Medical Centre I was impressed by his caring and friendly approach; he explained everything very clearly including the x-ray pictures, possible courses of action and happily answered my endless questions. I felt under no pressure to go ahead with a hip replacement and I always remember his closing words as I left ' come back and see me when your hip is affecting the quality of your life'. I knew that I would return although it was probably sooner than I anticipated because his words about quality of life kept coming back to me. My hip replacement was performed at Chelsfield Park Hospital and I cannot praise Mr Jain and all the staff involved in my care enough. Before the operation Mr Jain was always very reassuring and I had absolutely no second thoughts and no worries about going through with this. The aftercare from Mr Jain has been second to none; the operation has been a total success, his advice about how to avoid damage post op was sound, and his praise for how I have looked after myself was really encouraging. My new hip has given me a completely new lease of life; I can walk my dogs without dragging my leg behind me like a wounded animal, I can do pilates and swimming and I don't have to get an aisle seat on an aeroplane to see my grandsons! I can honestly say I am completely free of pain; I am full of praise and gratitude for Mr Jain and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Thank you Mr Jain.

Response from Mr Rohit Jain

Thank you very much for your kind review. I have always aimed for correct explanation of patient's condition in simple straightforward terms so that the patient is in the driving seat for making decisions tailored to their care, without feeling any pressure. Making the right treatment choice at the right time is the key to a successful outcome. Joint replacement surgery is truly a team work and you have equally played your part very well. I am delighted that you are pleased with the care I provided. Kind Regards, Rohit Jain

I had a hip replacement done recently by Rohit Jain. I can honestly say that he is marvellous. He made me feel very comfortable, almost as though he had met me before, therefore I was very confident before, during and after my surgery. A lot of people I have spoken to are worried about this surgery but I had the best man for the job. He showed me all the x rays so that I could see the progress for myself.

Thank you for your kind review. I am pleased that I gave you confidence and made you feel comfortable & informed through out the surgical journey. The thought of surgery can be very unnerving however making the patient understand the condition & keeping him/her in the centre of thinking, helps a great deal. Wishing you the very best. Kind Regards, Rohit Jain

I feel very fortunate that Mr Rohit Jain performed my total hip replacement. As well as being a master craftsman, he is a emphatic gentleman that takes the time to put his patients at ease and reassure them. Through all the stages of my hip replacement he took the time to explain my condition in detail, what my options were and how to assist my own recovery. Having suffered from Perthes disease during childhood both my hips were in a mess. Mr Jain has replaced my left hip and I am now back to work and functioning well even though the operation took a little longer than expected. I thank Mr Jain very much for his expert care and am keeping my fingers crossed that when the time comes to have my right hip replaced I will once again be under Mr Jain's care.
